Research Engineer - Machine Learning at Alcority

Shervin Parsi currently serves as a Research Engineer in Machine Learning at Alcority since April 2024 and as an Adjunct Professor at Roger Williams University since September 2021, teaching physics courses. Between September 2019 and August 2023, Shervin Parsi was a Graduate Research Assistant at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, focusing on the physics of machine learning through a thermodynamic framework to quantify information in generative models. Prior experience includes teaching as an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Staten Island from September 2019 to May 2021 and conducting research at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan from September 2013 to September 2015, where work involved modeling information flow in complex networks. Shervin Parsi holds a PhD in Physics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master’s degree from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Zanjan.
