Angela Shen-Hsieh is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with a robust background in data innovation and design. As the Founder and CEO of Alcōv since August 2021, Angela has been spearheading the development of a home styling and shopping app aimed at democratizing interior design. Concurrently, Angela serves as an Adjunct Professor at Zigurat Innovation & Technology Business School, teaching the Artificial Intelligence module in the Global MBA in Digital Business program. Previously, Angela held key positions at Telefónica as the Director of Data Innovation, where leadership of a multi-disciplinary team focused on leveraging machine learning and AI, and at IBM Watson as Program Director, overseeing various AI and cognitive solutions. Before these roles, Angela co-founded Visual i|o, a data visualization software company, and led GroupVisual.io, a design consultancy working with notable clients. Angela's educational background includes a Master's degree in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Columbia University.
