Alexey Margolin

Alexey Margolin has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1993. Alexey began their career at Altus Pharmaceuticals as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) in 1993. In 2008, they co-founded Alnara Pharmaceuticals and served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In 2011, they co-founded Allena Pharmaceuticals and served as CEO, as well as co-founding Alcresta Therapeutics and serving as Director and CEO. In 2019, they became Chairman of the Board at Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and in 2020 they became Chairman of the Board at Synspira Therapeutics, Inc.

Alexey Margolin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
