Bert Groot-Hulze

Bert Groot-Hulze has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology.

Bert started their career as an IT Specialist at Agis Zorgverzekeringen in 1998 and then worked as a System Administrator at Speedit, where they handled the installation, upgrading, and monitoring of software and hardware.

Bert then moved on to CVZ, where they served as a System Administrator, overseeing everyday operations and providing technical support.

At WorldTravel BTI, Bert worked as a Migration Specialist, planning and implementing the migration of all office locations to a new environment.

Bert joined BCD Travel as the Manager of Technical Support, where they led the technical operations and provided IT and cyber risk management consulting.

In 2006, Bert worked as the Manager of Technical Support & Maintenance at Kuoni, leading a team that was responsible for technical support and resolving technical challenges.

Bert then joined Bugaboo as an ICT Engineer, where they led technology initiatives and helped rebuild the global IT infrastructure. Over time, they took on various roles at Bugaboo, including Infrastructure Manager, ICT Manager, and ultimately Global ICT Manager. In these positions, Bert managed teams and implemented IT projects to support Bugaboo's global activities.

In 2021, they founded BGH Consultancy, which provided strategic guidance to organizations on technology and IT infrastructure.

Currently, Bert is working as the EUC Operations Team Lead for LeasePlan at Ayvens, where they oversee the EUC team and ensures excellent user experience and performance against SLAs and KPIs.

Bert Groot-Hulze obtained their Diploma of Education in Technical Computer Science / Computer Interface Technique from ROC Midden Nederland, completing their education from 1992 to 1996. Bert also holds several additional certifications, including the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum.org, and various Microsoft and Cisco certifications obtained between 1999 and 2019.
