Jennifer Bessems has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jennifer began their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Professional Trainee and later worked as an Operational Officer.
Jennifer then joined The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. as a Unit Manager, where they managed payment investigations and played a role in the separation from ABN AMRO and integration with RBS.
Jennifer later moved to The Royal Bank of Scotland NV as a Manager Customer Trade Advisory & Discrepancy Handling, where they oversaw operational management, implemented new client service strategies, and managed risk and projects.
Jennifer then joined RBS Markets and International Banking as a Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, and Change Manager, working on various projects related to cash, payments, and SEPA country implementation.
Their next career move was to ING as a Consultant Operational Excellence and a Sr Commercial Product Manager, where they facilitated process improvement initiatives and worked on customer experience improvement projects.
Jennifer then joined LeasePlan as a Corporate Product Management Lead, overseeing global business leads for digital transformation and managing the digitization of key client-facing processes within the organization.
Currently, they are working at Ayvens as a Global Business Lead for Digital Transformation B2B.
Jennifer Bessems attended Maastricht University from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. Jennifer continued their education at Maastricht University from 2005 to 2007 and earned a Master of Science degree in International Business with a focus on Strategy & Innovation.
