Marcel Klein

Marcel Klein is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and operations. As the Chief Technology Officer at Ayvens since September 2023, Marcel oversees over 200 global IT resources across various teams and has achieved significant efficiency improvements through Agile implementation. Prior roles include serving as Director of IT Operations at LeasePlan, where Marcel managed 180+ resources and contributed to the design of an AWS landing zone, and as Global Technical Program Manager at Amazon Web Services, overseeing projects across multiple global regions. Additional experiences include key positions at Caffe Nero, Lidl Ireland, and earlier roles that highlight a strong foundation in IT project management and operational improvements. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology & Telecommunications from the University of Limerick.
