John Kniep

John Kniep is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Aldea since January 2011, John leads financial operations for a nonprofit organization providing behavioral health and social services to children and families in Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. Previous roles include Senior Project Consultant at Richardson & Company, where John successfully led a team in financial restatements for a major fire district, and CFO at FamiliesFirst, Inc., overseeing a $40 million budget and a large-scale organization dedicated to foster care and mental health services. Additional experience encompasses leadership positions such as Shareholder at McDougal & Co., Inc., President of Western Capital Management & Development, and various CFO roles in commercial real estate development. John holds a B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.
