Jasper Hendrick Cheng

Jasper Hendrik Cheng has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Jasper Hendrik currently holds the position of Chief Actuarial Officer at Maxicare Healthcare Corporation. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at FWD Insurance from May 2018 to August 2023. Before joining FWD Insurance, they held various roles at Manulife, including SVP - Chief Product Officer & Actuary, VP - Pricing Actuary, and VP - Corporate Planning & Valuation Actuary (Manulife Philippines). Jasper Hendrik also worked at AXA as the VP - Chief Actuary (Philippines) and at AXA Philippines as a Senior Manager in the Actuarial department.

Jasper Hendrik Cheng obtained a Masters in Business Administration from De La Salle University, graduating between 2004 and 2010. Prior to that, they pursued an MS in Computational Finance from the same institution, completing it from 2001 to 2004. In their earlier years, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a major in Actuarial Science and Statistics from De La Salle University between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health" and "Top 10 Skills for Healthcare Data Analysts" from LinkedIn in 2023.
