D. Pedro Puig Pérez is a degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences. He joined SOS Children's Villages in Spain in 1991 as director of the SOS Children's Village in Cuenca. He remained in this position until 1997. Currently, he is General Director since May 2002 and President of the Association since June 2012.

SOS Children's Villages works to provide a protective family environment for those children who cannot have it and to strengthen vulnerable families so that they can properly care for their children and thus avoid their possible separation.
