Carlos Alfaro is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Southwest Director at Alder, Carlos oversees a portfolio aimed at driving social impact among business and nonprofit executives. As the founder of the Arizona Talks Foundation, Carlos has established a platform for dialogue and analysis on public policy. Previous roles include Arizona State Director for the American Business Immigration Coalition, where Carlos built coalitions for immigration reform, and Arizona Advocacy Manager for the Alliance for Safety and Justice, successfully recruiting over 1,000 new members. Additional experience includes directing communications for Stand for Children, managing operations at The LIBRE Initiative, and holding various leadership positions within the Marijuana Policy Project and Americans for Prosperity. Carlos holds degrees from Arizona State University and Scottsdale Community College.
