David Hughes

David Hughes is an experienced finance professional specializing in asset finance and wholesale funding solutions for the fleet and transportation sector. Currently serving as the Head of Fleet Funding Solutions at Aldermore Bank since July 2022, David possesses expertise in back-to-back funding structures and agency structures, including residual value risk solutions. Prior roles include Relationship Director at PEAC Finance UK and Barclays Bank PLC, where David held the title of Vice President, as well as leadership positions at GE Capital and Barclays from 1996 to 2004. David earned a BA (Hons) in Business and Management from the University of Northampton, with a focus on Balanced Scorecard Implementation.
