Priya Somani Shah

Priya Somani Shah is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and credit risk assessment. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Risk for Business Finance at Aldermore Bank since August 2025, Priya previously held various senior roles at the Bank of England from March 2015 to August 2025, including Senior Manager of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Credit Risk Team. Priya's career also includes positions as Senior Credit Manager at RBS, where responsibilities spanned corporate credit and support for key credit officers, and an early career at EY as an Executive in Insurance Audit. Priya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and is a Chartered Accountant from Ernst & Young.
