Enrique Díaz Liebanas

Enrique Delatorre is a Quality Line Support Engineer at Abbott since July 2022, specializing in Quality Engineering support for manufacturing to enhance product quality. Previously, Enrique served as a Project Manager at UCI Samueli School of Engineering, leading a senior design project in collaboration with Ossur Americas to innovate orthotics testing devices, as well as working as a Research & Development Engineer on a redesign of the vaginal speculum. Additionally, Enrique has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher focused on custom wheelchair headrest design and spent nearly a decade as Safety Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine and multiple associate degrees from Irvine Valley College in Mathematics, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
