Martin Church • Managing Director

Martin Church has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Martin Church • started their career as an Account Manager at TUBSA AUTOMOCION SL in 1997 and then worked as a Key Account Manager at Industrias Serva, S.A. from 1998 to 1999. Martin Church • later joined Dana Incorporated as a National Key Account from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they began their employment with ALDI ESPAÑA, initially serving as an Assistant to the Board - Trainee until 2004. Martin Church • then progressed to the position of Regional Managing Director from 2004 to 2016. Following this, they served as Managing Director of Finance and Administration from 2016 to 2019. Martin Church • then took on the role of Managing Director of Real Estate & Expansion (interim) from 2022 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director of Finance & IT at ALDI ESPAÑA since October 2019. Additionally, they have also worked for ALDI France as an interim Managing Director of Finance & IT from August 2022 to February 2023. Prior to their career in the business sector, they served as a Reserve Officer in the German Armed Forces from 1989 to 1991.

Martin Church has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Bioprocess Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig, which they obtained from 1991 to 1996. In 1996, they briefly studied Industrial Engineering at Escuela Politécnica Superior - Universidad de Zaragoza. Prior to that, they completed their Abitur at Albert Schweitzer-Schule Kassel from 1986 to 1989.
