Anna Burns

Anna Burns has a diverse work experience in various roles. Anna has worked as an International Quality Assurance - Project Director at ALDI Süd Holding since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager - Business Transformation at Aldi Ireland from 2022 to 2023. Anna also worked as a Technical Manager at Freshways Food Co. in 2022 and as a Quality Assurance Manager at Aldi UK from 2018 to 2022. Anna has a strong background in quality management, having served as a Quality Manager and Quality Systems Auditor at Kerry from 2015 to 2018. Anna also has experience in business development as a Business Development Intern at BlackLabBio in 2015. Anna holds a MSc degree in Biotechnology and Business from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and has completed a Bioprocessing Trainee program at NIBRT. Anna began their career as a Waitress and Bar staff at Delaney's Irish pub and Restaurant before pursuing their education. Anna studied at NUI Maynooth from 2008 to 2013.

Anna Burns completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology and Business from University College Dublin in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Maynooth University from 2008-2013. Anna's education started with a Leaving Certificate from Newbridge College in 2003-2008.
