Dr. Siobhan Gardiner

Dr. Siobhan Gardiner is an experienced international sustainability leader currently serving as the International Sustainability Director for Climate & Nature at ALDI SÜD HOLDING since March 2023. With a strong background in climate and nature advisory roles, Dr. Gardiner was previously the Climate & Nature Leader at Deloitte, where responsibilities included decarbonisation and sustainability strategy. Earlier, Dr. Gardiner held key positions at Unilever, focusing on sustainable technology and food security. A PhD in climate resilience and agroecology from Cranfield University complements a robust academic foundation in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Sussex and Royal Holloway, University of London. Dr. Gardiner has also contributed to voluntary carbon market strategy and founded a robotics company aimed at sustainable drone operations.
