Diaka Melendez

Diaka R. Melendez currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support at Aldine ISD, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Principal at Spring ISD from July 2016 to August 2022, and as Associate Principal of Curriculum and Assistant Principal at Humble ISD from February 2008 to July 2016. Diaka R. Melendez holds a Master of Education from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor of Education from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge.
