Alusha Mamchak has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Ph.D student and teaching assistant at the Australian National University. Alusha then moved on to various positions in research, project management, and alliance management at companies such as Alector, Atreca Inc., Applied Immunology, Miltenyi Biotec, Entelos Inc., Five Prime Therapeutics, and the University of California, San Francisco. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in scientific study management, laboratory coordination, financial management, client communications, project management, and scientific communication. Alusha has also been involved in immunization advocacy and community outreach.

Alusha Mamchak completed their education in a variety of fields. Alusha earned their Ph.D. in Immunology from The Australian National University in the years 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, and Parasitology from the same institution, completing it from 1985 to 1991.

In 2014, Alusha pursued non-degree courses to enhance their knowledge in the field of public health. Alusha completed a course on Community Change in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Alusha also participated in a non-degree course on Epidemiology, which covered the basics of public health, offered by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Berkeley Extension in 2012.

To further enrich their knowledge, Alusha obtained additional certifications in the field of public health. In 2014, they completed a course on Community Change in Public Health from Coursera.
