Ananya Mitra, Ph.D., DABT has extensive experience in the field of neurology and pharmaceutical research. Ananya is currently the Director of Nonclinical Science at Alector, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to joining Alector, they served as the Associate Director at the same company from 2019 to 2022.

Before their time at Alector, Ananya worked at Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as an Associate Director of Research from 2015 to 2019. Seeking further specialization, Ananya participated in a Summer Neurobiology Course at the Marine Biological Laboratory in 2007.
