Neil Berkley

Neil Berkley currently serves as the Chief Business Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Alector, focusing on corporate development, alliance management, program management, investor relations, public relations, and financial planning and analysis since March 2024. Previously, Neil held the position of Chief Business Officer at Abalone Bio and served on the Board of Directors for Navigen, Inc. and Juvena Therapeutics. With extensive experience in corporate development and business strategy, Neil's career includes roles at AbCellera, Halozyme Therapeutics, AxeroVision, COI Pharmaceuticals, ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, and GSK, where responsibilities encompassed business development, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and transaction management. Neil holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and an MS in Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, as well as a BS in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego.
