João Moedas

João Moedas is a seasoned brand designer and creative professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Lead Brand Designer at Alef Education since November 2024, João previously held the position of Senior Brand Designer at Preply, where João contributed to a comprehensive rebranding initiative in 2024. As the Founder of TheCityGuru, João developed a platform for travelers to explore street art, achieving profitability within two years. Other notable positions include Creative Director at United4Information, Founder and Creative Director at Brainsell, and Creative Partner at Glowork, where João played a pivotal role in empowering women in the workforce. João's career also includes significant creative leadership positions at Sabcoart and Alwaraqoon, as well as early experience as ECD at Dorland Advertising. João's educational background includes a degree in Visual Communication from Escola António Arroio.
