Hanven Yong has been working in the technology industry since 2009. In 2009, Hanven was a Graduate Assistant in the EMBA Department at Wichita State University, where they audited and facilitated weekly classes in various executive business classes. In 2010, Hanven worked as a member of the Supply Chain Initiative Team at TW Metals, where they analyzed and debugged existing inventory management systems, modeled a functional database system for inventory management based on Microsoft Access, and proposed various improvements to the distribution center processes based on Lean, TQM and Six-Sigma approaches. From 2011 to 2017, Hanven was employed at CNH Industrial, where they worked as a Test Engineer, Junior Test Engineer, and Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this role, Hanven performed, analyzed, and presented test results and provided corrective action recommendations to design and manufacturing engineers based on product validation tests, trained team members and developed tools and processes that facilitate stress testing and fatigue analysis, and utilized various tools such as root cause analysis, time study analysis, TOC, TQM, and Pareto Analysis to accomplish improvement projects. In 2018, Hanven became a Systems Engineer and Consultant at Kaizen Guide Enterprise, where they provided system-wide consulting services to worldwide customers in the technology, manufacturing, construction, and service industry. Finally, in 2021, Hanven became a Systems Engineer and Data Services Systems & Support at Alegion, where they integrated AI and human intelligence in developing ML training data.
Hanven Yong attended La Salle High School Klang from 1991 to 2001, where they studied Science. Hanven then attended Wichita State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management from 2006 to 2008, and a Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from 2009 to 2011. During their time at Wichita State University, they also obtained two Graduate Certificates in IME - Foundations of Six-Sigma and Quality Improvement, and Lean Systems. In 2010, they obtained a Six-Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters. In 2020, they obtained a Six Sigma: Green Belt from the Project Management Institute, and in 2021, they obtained a Six Sigma: Black Belt from the Project Management Institute. Finally, in 2022, they obtained a Fundamentals of Agile Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
