James Speight

James Speight has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James began their career in 2004 as a Royalty/Label Administrator at Defected Records. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Royalties Analyst at Eagle Rock Entertainment. In 2008, they joined Counterpoint Systems Limited as a Presales Consultant/Senior Business Analyst. James then moved to Sunrise Software in 2012, where they served as a Business Consultant, demonstrating and providing technical advice on their products. In 2014, James joined Alemba as a Sales Engineer, and over the years, they progressed to roles such as Head of US/EMEA Pre-Sales and Head of Business Development EMEA. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Global Business Development at Alemba.

James Speight attended Kingsmead Community School in Taunton from 1992 to 1998, where they completed their GCSEs. James then went on to Richard Huish College in Taunton from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued A Levels in Media Studies, English Literature, and Maths. Finally, they attended Solent University from 2001 to 2004, where they graduated with a BA (Hons) in Media Writing.
