Sariette Witte

Sariette Witte, MSc, has a diverse range of work experience. Sariette currently serves as the Head of Communications at Alentis Therapeutics since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at VectorY from October 2022 to May 2023. Sariette also worked at ProQR Therapeutics NV for a significant period, first as the Investor Relations from October 2014 to January 2016 and then as the Director of Corporate Communications from January 2016 to May 2022. Sariette has also worked in Business Development at myTomorrows.com from August 2013 to October 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as a Research intern in gene regulation at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI-AVL) from February 2012 to August 2012. Sariette holds an MSc in Biology from Wageningen University, where they studied from September 2005 to August 2012. Additionally, they completed exchange studies in "Functional genomics" and "Medical genetics & cancer" at Uppsala University from March 2011 to October 2011. Sariette also has experience as an Acquisition Manager at AIESEC the Netherlands from July 2009 to July 2010.

Sariette Witte, MSc attended Oosterlicht College from 1999 to 2005 where they obtained a high school diploma with a focus on Nature & Health. Sariette then pursued higher education at Wageningen University & Research from 2005 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cell biology and genetics.
