Ben Brandt

Ben Brandt has worked in the software engineering and UX engineering fields since 2011. Ben began their career as a Production Assistant at DreamWorks Animation, before moving on to become an Assistant Director at Biola Web Conference. In 2013, they were hired as a Video Editor at Fuller Theological Seminary, and then as a Web and Technical Specialist at Biola University. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Front-End Developer at Icon Media and Monk Development. At Talentpair, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer and then a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure, using modern best practices to scale with their growing user base. In 2021, they joined Aleph Alpha GmbH as a Lead UX Engineer.

Ben Brandt attended Biola University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a BA in Cinema and Media Arts - Production. In 2014, they began training with fxphd in VFX, Motion Graphics, 3D & Production. In 2018, they started attending Portland Community College to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
