Sagit Shalel Levanon

Sagit Shalel Levanon is a seasoned professional in process development with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Process Development at Aleph Farms since June 2020, Sagit has previously held leadership roles in process development at Teva Pharmaceuticals from September 2007 to June 2020, progressing from Senior Scientist to Senior Manager in Bioprocess Technologies. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Scientist at Sigma Aldrich from 2006 to 2007. Sagit holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Postdoctoral research degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering, awarded summa cum laude, also from the Technion.
