Colin Piepgras

Colin Piepgras is the VP of Hardware Engineering at ALERT INNOVATION. Prior to joining ALERT INNOVATION, Colin was the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Digital Lumens from July 2008 to 2020. Before that, Colin worked as a Principal Design Engineer at Color Kinetics from August 1999 to July 2008. Colin's career also includes experience as a Senior Research Engineer at National Robotics Engineering Consortium and as a Production Assistant at Industrial Light and Magic. Colin holds a Masters Degree in Art & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
