Dan Cheever is a retired financial services executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. From March 2015 to January 2019, Dan served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, as well as the Chief Financial Officer at Alerus. Prior to this, Dan held positions such as Senior Vice President at MidCountry Bank, where responsibilities included reducing problem assets, and Chief Financial Officer at Marquette Financial Companies, overseeing a diverse range of financial services. Dan's career also includes significant leadership roles at GMAC-ResCap, First National Bank of Arizona & Nevada, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Dakota between 1973 and 1977.
