Minhee Seol

Minhee Seol has over 25 years of work experience in the fashion industry. Minhee began their career as an Assistant Designer at Lee's Specialty, Ltd. in 1992 before moving on to SML Sports Ltd., where they worked as a Production Manager and Associate Designer. In 1996, they joined ANN INC (Ann Taylor | LOFT | Lou & Grey) as a Technical Designer and was responsible for the initial launch of the Loft brand. Minhee then worked at Nina Leonard (Affiliate of Maggy London) as the Director of Production and Technical Design. In 2001, they became a Sr. Technical Manager and Product Developments representative for EXPRESS, where they played a key role in the launch of Express Men's. From 2005 to 2014, they served as the Vice President of Technical Services / Product Development at David's Bridal, where they managed operations for multiple brands, launched collaborations with designers, and oversaw various categories. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President of Global Sourcing and Production at Alex Apparel Group, a role they have been in since 2015. Minhee Seol's extensive experience encompasses all aspects of the fashion industry, from design and technical work to sourcing and production management.

Minhee Seol has a diverse education history. Minhee began their educational journey in 1988 at Seoul Women's University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing Science. During their time at Seoul Women's University, they also obtained a certificate in Pattern Making.

In 1991, Minhee Seol furthered their education at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Minhee specialized in Fashion Design as their major and also pursued a minor in Fashion Merchandising.

In 2014, Minhee Seol sought additional education in Real Estate Investment Management at REBNY.

To supplement their education, Minhee Seol has obtained several certifications. These include a Certification of Meeting Facilitation and Communication from a limited institution, Draping, Marking, and Grading for Women's Sportswear from NARA Fashion Institute, NY State Property Management from NY state, and NY State Real Estate Salesperson.

Most recently, from 2023 to 2025, Minhee Seol attended NYU Stern School of Business, where they obtained an Executive MBA degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
