Ayodeji Stephen

Climate Change Research Fellow at Alex Ekweme Federal University

Ayodeji Stephen is a Doctoral Researcher at Dublin City University, specializing in the electrification and hydrogen-based decarbonisation of Ireland's transport system, with a focus on heavy goods vehicles, trains, maritime, and aviation. In addition to ongoing research, Ayodeji holds multiple current roles including Africa Energy Associate at High-Level Climate Champions, Ronald Coase Fellow at the Mercatus Center, Director and Advisory Board Member at Hydrogen-Africa, Fellow for the UN Environment Programme's Global Environment Outlook, and Climate Change Research Fellow at Alex Ekweme Federal University. Ayodeji has a diverse educational background, with a PhD in progress, multiple mini-master’s programs from the European University Institute, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from the University of Ibadan. Ayodeji is also pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Hydrogen Safety at Ulster University.
