Chukwuma Mgbenu

Chukwuma Mgbenu is currently serving as a Kummer I&E Fellow and Vice President of Operations for the International Students Club at Missouri University of Science and Technology, a position held since August 2021. Mgbenu has been an Assistant Lecturer and Graduate Assistant at Alex Ekweme Federal University since September 2018. Previously, Mgbenu held leadership roles at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, including President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers from May 2016 to April 2017 and Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists in 2014. Mgbenu's educational background includes a PhD in Geology from Missouri University of Science and Technology (2021-2025), a Master of Science in Geology from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (2017-2019), and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Anambra State University (2010-2014).
