Andrew is a member of AAFCPAs’ Managed Accounting Solutions practice, providing accounting infrastructure set-up, and high-quality, cloud-based accounting services for diverse nonprofits and commercial businesses. Andrew has extensive experience serving Cannabis businesses, including cultivators, distributors & dispensaries, retailers, and other commercial enterprises.

Andrew provides accounting support with efficient processes & procedures, relieving clients of the burden of day-to-day financial activities. He simplifies the set-up process, providing guidance to clients in setting up cloud solutions, including: designing customized charts of accounts, setting up customers and vendors for accurate sales and expense reporting, connecting to bank & credit card accounts, and implementing client information for professional looking output forms.

He provides routine and specialized transactional support, including: electronic processing of accounts payable & cash disbursements, payroll processing, invoicing & tracking of accounts receivable, processing of credit card transactions, journal entry recording, general ledger account reconciliations & maintenance of subsidiary records, and performs monthly closing procedures. He oversees the preparation and submission of federal tax filings and manages multi-state registration and reporting requirements as appropriate. He tracks client loan balances and interest payment schedules and ensures debt repayment is optimized.

Andrew’s strong background in finance and accounting includes almost 5 years’ experience in the commercial real estate sector. He has a keen understanding of the responsibilities associated with preparing, processing, reviewing and analyzing financial transactions necessary for building, buying, and selling real estate.
