Dawn Hagman

Dawn is a seasoned human resource professional and leader of AAFCPAs’ Talent Management function. She has extensive experience in HR leadership roles within the public accounting industry and understands business operations and how HR contributes to client service & firm growth.

Dawn has extensive experience in all areas of HR management including strategy development and execution, staffing and recruiting, compensation, employee relations, performance management, benefit management, professional development, learning and organizational development.

She is a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute a human resource strategy that aligns with the overall goals of the organization. Dawn keeps her finger on the pulse of best practices and trends externally, including changes in the business environment and the needs of a diverse workforce. She positively contributes to the firm’s efforts related to employee well-being; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); hybrid and remote work arrangements, employee experience; agile workforce planning; and upskilling and reskilling.

Dawn is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Dawn successfully led HR departments for employers in both the professional service and nonprofit industries.
