Kayla Oliver is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in legal writing and appellate advocacy. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law, Kayla teaches advanced legal writing with a focus on appellate brief-writing. As Counsel at Alexander Dubose & Jefferson LLP, Kayla specializes in crafting persuasive legal briefs and collaborating with clients for successful appellate outcomes. Kayla is the Founder and President of Law Review, LLC, providing consulting services in legal writing and coaching for attorneys. Previous roles include Associate at King & Spalding, Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and Legislative Director for Texas State Representative Richard Peña Raymond. Kayla holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. with Highest Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
