Charlene Swartz

Charlene Swartz currently holds the position of Special Projects: Retail Solutions at Alexforbes since May 2025. Prior to this, Charlene worked at Sygnia Asset Management from June 2013 to May 2025, where Charlene served as Head of Strategic Projects, Head of Operations, and Head of Retail Operations. Charlene's earlier career includes roles at Deloitte from January 2003 to June 2013, progressing from Trainee Accountant to Senior Audit Manager. Additionally, Charlene was an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Cape Town for a brief period in 2002. Educational qualifications include a MCom in Accounting and a BCom Honours in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and CA(SA) designation. Educational background also features a BBusSc in Finance Honours from the University of Cape Town and attendance at Edgemead High School.
