Niels Husted Kjær

Niels Husted Kjær started their work experience in 1997 as a Student Programmer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Aarhus. Niels Husted then worked as a Software Developer at The Danish National Center for IT-Research from 1999 to 2001. After that, they joined Medical Insight A/S where they held various roles, including Software Developer from 2001 to 2004, R&D Manager from 2004 to 2007, and CTO from 2007 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the General Manager at Vital Images, Waterloo (formerly Karos Health). Niels Husted then served as the Nordic IT Director at Agfa HealthCare from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are the CEO of Alexandra Instituttet, starting from October 2019.

Niels Husted Kjær obtained a Master of Management of Technology degree from Aalborg University, studying from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Aarhus University from 1995 to 2001.
