Trine Plambech

Director of Digital Sustainability at Alexandra Instituttet

Trine Plambech has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Trine started their career in 2002 as a Project Manager at Crossroads Copenhagen, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Trine Plambech worked as a User Interface Designer at NOKIA. In 2006, they joined MobilePeople as a Senior User Experience Designer and eventually became the Director of Insight & Innovation from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, Trine Plambech joined Alexandra Instituttet as a Research & Innovation Specialist, where they worked until 2013. Trine then held roles as a Senior Green Urban Designer and Project Manager from 2014 to 2015, Team Leader in the People, Technology, and Business Lab from 2016 to 2018, and Principal Green Urban Designer and Project Manager from 2016 to 2018. From 2019 to 2023, Trine Plambech was the Manager of Intelligent Sustainability at Alexandra Instituttet, and they currently hold the position of Director of Digital Sustainability. Additionally, they have served as a Beskikket censor at Informationsvidenskab og Interaktive Medier since 2002.

Trine Plambech has an extensive education history. Trine obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environment, Technology and Social Studies, Psychology from Roskilde University in the years 1995 to 1998. In 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Design, Communication, Media, and Psychology from IT-Universitetet i København. Additionally, they completed a partial B.Sc. in Psychology from Stockholm University that same year.

Continuing their educational journey, Trine Plambech completed a Master of Landscape Architecture degree with a focus on Sustainability Studies from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen between 2010 and 2012. In 2008, they underwent leadership training in the field of middle management opportunities in complex contexts at DISPUK.

Later, in 2019 to 2020, Trine Plambech pursued a Mini MBA - Lederuddannelse (Leadership Education) with a specialization in strategic leadership, change management, and sustainability in the modern organization from Aros Business Academy.

Looking into the future, Trine Plambech is expected to undertake studies in Regenerative Leadership at the Center for Regenerativ Ledelse in 2023, although the specific degree and field of study are currently unknown.
