Doug MacDonald

Doug Macdonald is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the building materials and hockey industries. Currently serving as the Director of Sales for Western Canada at Alexandria Moulding since March 2022, Doug has held various leadership roles including Sales Manager at MEGAPRO Tools and District Manager at Roofmart, where responsibilities encompassed managing sales and operations across multiple branches. With a strong background in product development and marketing at Western Forest Products and a significant tenure at Metrie, where Doug served in multiple strategic roles, Doug has a proven track record in driving sales growth and operational excellence. Additionally, Doug is a former professional hockey player, having played for the Buffalo Sabres and Kölner Haie, where accomplishments included winning a championship and receiving MVP honors. Educational credentials include a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in Sports Management from Xavier University.
