Tero Wesanko

Tero Wesanko has extensive experience in the investment services industry. Tero served as the Head of Portfolio Management / Chief Strategist at Alexandria Group from September 2013, where they were a member of the Board. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Economist at NCC from October 2012 to September 2013, providing strategic and economic advisory support. Tero also held the position of Managing Director (Funds) / Senior Portfolio Manager at Finlandia Group Oyj from August 2010 to October 2012, where they managed assets worth approximately EUR 400M. Tero started their career at Nordea as the Head of Equities Finland / Chief Equity Strategist from May 2000 to August 2010 and briefly worked at Henki-Sampo as an Assistant in Investment Services in early 2000.

Tero Wesanko began their education in 1998 at the University of Turku where they pursued a degree in M. Sc. in Economics and Statistics. Tero completed this degree in 2002. Following this, they attended the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained another M. Sc. degree, this time in Accounting, Economics, and Commercial Law.
