Hillary Orr

Hillary Orr is an experienced professional in public administration and transportation services, currently serving as the Deputy Director for Transportation & Environmental Services at the City of Alexandria, Virginia since January 2013. Previous roles include Special Assistant to the City Manager, Pedestrian and Bicycle Program Manager, and Complete Streets Coordinator within the same organization. Prior to that, Hillary worked as a Senior Transportation Planner at Fairfax County DOT from July 2011 to January 2013 and as a Senior Program Manager at the NYC Department of Transportation from July 2006 to July 2011. Hillary holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wake Forest University, along with completing the Senior Executive Institute focused on High Performing Organizations at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2018.
