Janice Abraham

Janice Abraham serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at American University, where responsibilities include vice chair of the Presidential Search Committee and chair of the Academic Affairs Committee, along with participation in the Investment, Finance, Property, and Audit Committees. Additionally, Janice holds the position of Trustee at the National 4-H Council and serves as a Commissioner for the Waterfront Commission in the City of Alexandria, Virginia. Janice's prior experience includes serving as President & CEO of United Educators from 1998 to August 2023, a Senior Advisor at LeapFrog Investments in 2011, and Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer at Whitman College from December 1989 to November 1997. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BA in International Service from American University.
