Philip Pugh

Philip Pugh is an experienced professional with a strong background in code enforcement and property maintenance inspections. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Operations and Division Chief of Property Maintenance Inspections for the City of Alexandria, Virginia since July 2011, Philip Pugh oversees the Property Maintenance Code inspection team and engages with the community to educate on relevant ordinances and coordinate with other city agencies. Prior to this role, Philip Pugh held the position of Program Manager for Inspections and Compliance at DCRA from February 2008 to July 2011, where responsibilities included providing proactive inspections across designated neighborhoods. Earlier experience includes serving as a Community Code Enforcement Inspector for Arlington County from October 2004 to January 2008, focusing on maintaining community standards related to health, safety, and zoning.
