Blake Stevens

Blake Stevens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and materials science sectors. Currently serving as a Board Observer at Harpe Bio and as Vice President - Science & Technology at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., where Blake also heads Alexandria LaunchLabs - AgTech, Blake has held various leadership and board roles at multiple companies, including Plant Response, SynGlyco, and ABS Materials. Previously, Blake was a vital member of the Harris & Harris Group's deal team, focusing on sourcing and investing in early-stage technology companies. With a strong academic background, Blake holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and a certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.
