Kristen Bailey

Kristen Bailey currently serves as the VP of Science & Technology Investment Operations at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., a position held since January 2018. Previously, Kristen was the Director of Operations at Sway Ventures from October 2015 to January 2018, focusing on early to mid-stage technology investments. Prior to this, Kristen held the role of Director of Finance & Administration at Forward Ventures, a prominent life-science venture capital firm, from July 2000 to January 2018. Kristen's career began as a Financial Accountant at Advent Venture Partners in Europe from 1999 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from San Diego State University.
