Wendy L. Callahan has extensive experience in human resources management, spanning over two decades. Wendy L. is currently employed at Alexandria Renew Enterprises, where they hold the position of Chief Human Resources Officer since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Human Resources at the same company from July 2021 to March 2023.

With a strong background in the public sector, Wendy previously worked as a Human Resources Manager at Therma-Tru Doors, where they were responsible for all HR, Safety, Health, and Environmental functions for a manufacturing facility from June 2007 to May 2009. Before that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Simmons Manufacturing, where they were a key member of the Plant Leadership Team and oversaw HR functions for a manufacturing facility from January 2004 to January 2007.

Wendy L.'sexperience also includes the role of Director of Human Resources at Sun Microstamping, where they managed HR functions for multi-site manufacturing facilities from July 2000 to August 2003. Prior to that, they held the position of Human Resources Manager at AAR Composites, where they handled HR duties for a multi-site organization from March 1998 to July 2000.

Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, compensation and benefits management, recruitment, training, and performance management. Wendy L. has also been involved in contract management, vendor selection, and the development and implementation of HR policies and programs aligned with organizational objectives.

Wendy L. Callahan, CBP, CCP, PHR, WLCP has a diverse education history. Wendy L. obtained a Diploma in General Studies from Dunedin High School in 1986. Wendy L. then attended the University of South Florida from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Accounting. In 2002, Wendy earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management & Leadership from Kennedy Western University.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Wendy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2000, they became a Professional in Human Resources through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Wendy L. went on to earn the Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Compensation Professional, and Work-Life Certified Professional designations from WorldatWork in 2002 and 2015, respectively. Wendy also holds the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, which they obtained in 2015. Wendy L.'sprofessional development continued with the attainment of the IPMA-SCP certification from IPMA-HR in 2016. Most recently, Wendy obtained the Certified Human Resources Specialist in ADP Workforce Now® certification from ADP in September 2022.
