Ryan Visci

Ryan Visci has extensive experience in the transportation industry. Ryan most recently served as the Director of Operations for Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the CUE Transit Manager for the City of Fairfax, Virginia, where they led the fixed route public bus system and implemented initiatives such as a zero fare pilot. From 2017 to 2021, Visci worked as an Assistant General Manager at First Transit, overseeing the daily operations and implementing changes that doubled ridership. Ryan also held positions as a Senior Transportation Planner at Capitol Region Council of Governments and an Operations Manager at First Transit/Estuary Transit District. In 2010, they began their career as a Dispatcher, Trainer, and Driver for UCONN Transportation.

Ryan Visci earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Urban and Community Studies from the University of Connecticut, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Ryan then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the same university, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, during the same period, Ryan obtained a Graduate Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Connecticut.
