James Dempsey

James Dempsey is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on commercial operations and market access. Currently serving as Executive Director of US Commercial Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2016, Dempsey has held several key positions at the company, including Senior Director and Director roles. Prior experience includes significant roles at Novo Nordisk Canada Inc., Gilead Sciences Canada Inc., and Eli Lilly Canada Inc., where Dempsey developed expertise in market insights, commercial effectiveness, and operations. Dempsey holds an MBA from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business and a B.Sc. from McGill University.
