Pere Villar

Pere Villar has extensive work experience in various industries. Pere currently holds the position of Head of Service Sales at Alfa Laval, where they previously served as Director of Service Sales Energy. Prior to their role at Alfa Laval, they worked as the Sales Director for the USA and Canada Wear Parts Division at CERATIZIT GROUP.

Pere also has a strong background in sales and management roles at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, formerly known as Sandvik Hyperion. Pere held the positions of Global Sales Manager and North America Sales Manager & Global Key Account Manager, where they led sales efforts and supported customer business review meetings, contract negotiations, and pricing discussions.

Additionally, Pere has experience as a Carbide Recycling Program Manager at Sandvik Hyperion, where they developed a global strategy and regional plans for the recycling business.

Earlier in their career, Pere worked at Sandvik as a Product Manager and Sales Engineer, where they successfully developed marketing plans, built strong customer relationships, and identified new business opportunities. Pere also worked as an Application Engineer, where they collaborated closely with sales and customers to meet their needs.

Before entering the private sector, Pere worked as a Project Engineer and later advanced to Project Manager at Autoliv, a global leader in automotive safety systems. Furthermore, they served as a Part-Time Lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they supported research activities in the field of systems engineering, automation, and industrial informatics.

Pere Villar obtained a Master's degree in Product Marketing from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1999, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 1996.
