Alex Henry

Alex Henry, AICP, currently serves as the Vision Zero Coordinator for the City of Tampa since September 2022. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Transportation Corridor Planner for the Washington State Department of Transportation from August 2021 to August 2022, and held positions at the Florida Department of Transportation from July 2016 to August 2021, including Bicycle/Pedestrian and Public Engagement Coordinator and District Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Program Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Center for Urban Transportation Research from May 2014 to July 2016. Alex holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, a Graduate Certificate in Transportation Systems Analysis, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government, all from the University of South Florida.
