Chris Cygan

Chris Cygan is an experienced safety professional currently serving as the Director of Safety at Benesch since July 2021, contributing to infrastructure and community development. Previously, Cygan held the position of Environmental Health & Safety Director at Custom Truck One Source, where innovative heavy equipment solutions were provided. Cygan’s career also includes roles as EHS Manager at Orizon Aerostructures, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at Peterson Manufacturing Co, and Regional EHS Manager at Sprint. Earlier experience includes working as a Safety Engineer at Orbital ATK, EHS Manager at Ball Corporation, and Safety Officer at Independence Power & Light. Cygan holds a Master of Business Administration in Leadership Studies from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management from the University of Central Missouri.
